What we record

For every choice we keep, as the proof required by art. 7(1) GDPR: a random identifier (also saved in the bwc_consent cookie in your browser), date and time, the options chosen, the policy version and the list of services active at that moment, language, device category and a keyed hash of the IP address. We do not keep the IP address in clear and we do not link these records to your name or e-mail.

Records are kept for 3 years from the last change of your choice, then deleted automatically. If you delete your browser cookies, we can no longer match the records to your device; for a copy, write to hello@bwcounter.com quoting the identifier above.
